Sensei Noah Mitchell Represents Oxford at International University Karate Conference
FSK’s Sensei Noah Mitchell proudly represented Oxford Universities Karate Club at the inaugural **International Conference of University Karate Clubs**. The event brought together university-level karate practitioners from around the world for a weekend of elite training and cultural exchange.
Leading the sessions were some of Japan’s most respected instructors:
- Sensei Osada – President of the JUKF (Shito-Ryu)
- Sensei Watanabe – Chairman of the JUKF (Wado-Ryu)
- Sensei Ohta – Chief Instructor of JKA England (Shotokan)
The training focused on Kihon, partner drills, and an in-depth comparison of Chinto Kata from both the Shito-Ryu and Shotokan styles. Sensei Noah was honoured to be chosen by Sensei Watanabe for live demonstrations—a mark of high respect for his ability and presence on the tatami.
Congratulations to Sensei Noah on this important milestone in his Karate journey. A reminder that the martial path not only sharpens the body and mind but also opens doors to global friendships, personal growth, and lifelong community.
