Meopham Open – 2016

Khalsa champions entered 5 kata competitors for the local well run season opener , this competition is normal used as a club level entry comp , but over the years has grown due to many England A squad and England elite athletes entering to gain valuable matt time before major comps.

That said khalsa champions entered their elite kata squad KIeran nunkoo (England’s elite squad member U21 and multiple European medalist ) , ola jedrzejczyk (English kyu grade gold medalist 2016, Poland’s elite cadet athlete) , Eoin Purcell ( English kyu grade gold medalist 2016) , followed by there A squad member, Daniel croft and Aaron spammy.

Aaron spammy this being only his second competition, won his first round but lost his quarter final 2-1

Both Aaron and Daniel are aged 10 and under but both have a bright future ahead.
